These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of E85 App. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use E85 App on Apple devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's standard App Store terms.
Fuel prices and data are not guaranteed
E85 App is an informational tool, not a guarantee. Station listings, prices, ethanol percentages, and flex-fuel compatibility come from third-party sources (GasBuddy, the U.S. Alternative Fuels Data Center) and from other users, and can be out of date, incomplete, or wrong. Prices and pump ethanol content change constantly. Always confirm the price at the pump and verify your vehicle is flex-fuel compatible before fueling. The blend calculator provides estimates only — you are responsible for what you put in your vehicle. We are not liable for fuel costs, engine damage, or any decision you make based on app data.
Accounts
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and choose a username that isn't impersonating or infringing on others. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
Community contributions
When you submit stations, prices, blends, tips, photos, or reviews, you confirm the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it. You grant us a license to display and distribute that content within the app and its community features. Don't submit false, misleading, abusive, infringing, or unlawful content. We may remove contributions and revoke rewards (XP) obtained through abuse or manipulation.
Rewards
XP, levels, leaderboards, and any reward features have no cash value, are for engagement only, and may be changed or discontinued. We may adjust or remove rewards earned through fraud or exploitation.
Ads and subscriptions
The app is free and supported by advertising. You can remove ads and unlock premium features through an in-app subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID, auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed in your Apple account settings. Existing lifetime "remove ads" purchases continue to be honored. Apple's standard purchase terms and refund policies apply.
Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the app or its data; don't use it for any unlawful purpose; and don't attempt to defeat the rewards system or rate limits. We may suspend access for misuse.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, E85 App and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the app or its data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months (which, for free users, is zero).
Changes
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The current version always lives at e85app.com/terms.
